| Dear customers Thank you for your interest in our K:Works soundware for Kurzweil K2xxx instruments. We believe that our soundware will make it easier and more enjoyable for you to express your creative music ideas and that it will bring you a constant source of inspiration. K:Works Because of our uncompromising emphasis on professional quality, easy to follow category structure and comprehensive coverage of most recent music styles, the entire K:Works collection for Kurzweil K2500, K2600 and K2661 instruments has taken several years to develop. Each K:Works collection for the respective K2xxx instruments includes the following soundware categories: Analog & Digital Orchestral Modern Synth Workshop Drums & Percussion Electro Extreme The above categories are further divided into individual volumes. It is possible to purchase each individual volume separately which gives you a great measure of flexibility as it allows you to choose only the sound programs that cover your current needs. A detailed description of all K:Works soundware products for each respective K2xxx instrument is available at our e-shop. With kind permission from Kurzweil company, all original ROM and FARM programs supplied with K2xxx instruments are included free of charge as part of our K:Works collection. These programs, however, were carefully re-categorized and reordered to make them easier to navigate, access and use. Our K:Works collection for Kurzweil K2500 and K2600 series instruments comes in versions "EX" and "LE". The "EX" version is designed for instruments with optional Orchestral, Contemporary (K2500, K2600) and ST Piano (K2500) ROM boards installed. The "LE" version is designed for instruments without the above mentioned optional ROM boards. Our K:Works soundware collection designed for Kurzweil K2661 instruments is virtually identical to the "EX" version for K2600 instruments, however, the technical documentation and the text notes in the sound banks are different. Since all Kurzweil K2661 instruments come with factory installed Orchestral and Contemporary ROM boards, K:Works "LE" version for these instruments is not supplied. For these reasons, please ensure that your Kurzweil K2600 instrument is fitted with the respective ROM boards before placing an order. K:Works K2500 and K2600 product upgrades and crossgrades (K:Works bundles only) are available to all users. For more information, please see Upgrade & Crossgrade. The K:Works soundware collections (K:Works volumes and K:Works bundles) are shipped via electronic delivery to customer e-mail address. The K:Works soundware is also supplied on Compact Discs (CDs). For more information, please see Ordering Info. K:Works volumes for Kurzweil K2600 and K2500 instruments are supplied on one floppy disk and on one "Backup & Documentation" CD. K:Works volumes for Kurzweil K2661 instruments are supplied on one CD only. The CD includes the respective soundware and the soundware technical documentation which comes in the form of a Reference Guide, Product List, Product Details and complete Sound Program List (in PDF format).
